FAQ for program officers

Questions your VP and board will ask

What exactly are we buying?

Capacity building for grantees: online platform access for every grantee, an open community of practitioners and providers, plus optional sponsored cohorts and coaching or technical-assistance packages delivered by experts in the field. One partner and one agreement cover all of it.

How is this different from hiring consultants?

Consultants go deep with a few grantees for a set period. Resilia reaches the whole portfolio, ends every program with finished work, and keeps support going afterward through coaches, peers and a living record. Your existing consultants can work on Resilia too.

Will this add burden to grantees?

No new forms. Grantees use the workspace for their own work and decide what to share with you.

What will we be able to report to our board?

Participation, finished deliverables and the outcomes grantees choose to share, plus stories and evidence-based impact narratives you can use with permission. For example, 83% of Boston Foundation grantees engaged within four months.

What about grantee data and privacy?

The nonprofit owns its data and controls who accesses it. Funders pay to sponsor nonprofits, never for access to nonprofit data. Nothing is shared without consent. Read the commitments.

How is this trust-based?

Grantees choose their path and their coach, and share progress by consent. You learn from honest signal instead of compliance reports.

Invite your grantees

Subject: Free capacity-building support from [Foundation name], through Resilia Dear [Grantee name], As part of our commitment to our grantees, [Foundation name] is sponsoring access to Resilia for your organization, at no cost to you. Resilia offers coaching, training, peer cohorts and practical tools for nonprofit leaders and teams. You choose what to work on. Every program ends with something finished — a campaign, a plan, a policy. Two things matter to us: • Your data stays yours. We see activation, basic activity and anything you choose to share with us. • This is not a new reporting requirement. Use it for your own work, on your own terms. To get started, activate your workspace here: [invitation link]. It takes a few minutes, and you can take a free capacity check to find your best starting point. Questions? Reply to this email or contact Resilia at support@resilia.com. With appreciation, [Program officer name]

Launch plan

What the first 90 days look like
