Signs you need this
What are the signs a nonprofit board needs development?
A nonprofit board needs development when it shows up but doesn’t help raise money, when the same few members do everything, when no one is sure of the board’s legal duties, or when the board doesn’t reflect the community served.
- Your board shows up, but doesn’t help raise money.
- The same three people do everything.
- Nobody is sure what the board’s legal duties are.
- Your bylaws haven’t been read in years.
- Your board doesn’t reflect the community you serve.
How it works
How does Resilia deliver board development and board training?
Resilia delivers board development through a practitioner who works with your board chair and executive director (ED), board training sessions for the full board, and a coach who supports the first recruitment and governance cycle.

Time and cost
How long does board development take, and what does it cost?
Board training can start with a single session; recruitment and governance updates run on your board’s own calendar. Cohort seats are $2,000–$6,000 per organization (1–3 people), including platform access during the cohort, and coaching is $200–$500 per session; it’s free to you if your funder sponsors it, and you can start self-service for free.
