Program · Healthy & Successful Leaders
The people who run it — supported well enough to keep running it.
Healthy & Successful Leaders is a cohort program for nonprofit leaders and their teams: a room of peers who get it, a coach in your corner, and a steady hand when the weight is yours alone. Help that gets things off your plate — not one more plan to carry.
You’ll walk away with
A personal leadership and wellbeing plan
A succession outline your board has seen
A coach in your corner
An online community of your peers

Fit
Who it’s for
Executive directors and their teams. An ED carries governance, fundraising, programs and staff — plus the personal weight of the mission, often alone. Their team is critical support, yet the sector invests less in developing its leaders than almost any other field. When leaders run dry, the mission stalls. This cohort keeps the people carrying the work well enough to keep carrying it.
How it runs
Format & time
- 2, 3 or 6-month cohort
- About 5–8 hrs/month
- Peer cohort and group coaching
- 1:1 coaching
- Verified, moderated online community
The map
Three domains where leaders need a hand.
-
Leadership
The person and the team: executive leadership and decision-making, leader wellbeing and resilience, staff management and team culture, succession and leadership transitions, and professional development and coaching.
-
Governance
The board, as people: board roles and fiduciary duties, recruitment, composition and development, and a healthy board–executive partnership. (Policies and bylaws live in board development.)
-
Diversity, equity & inclusion
Culture and belonging: an inclusive culture where people belong, equitable hiring and talent practices, and diversity in board and senior leadership. (Equity in programs lives in organizational systems.)
How the support shows up
Three ways you’re not in it alone.
Online community — folks like you
A verified, moderated room of nonprofit leaders: the question you can’t post on LinkedIn, answered by people who’ve sat where you sit. Last year’s answer is still there when you need it.
Peer cohort — a small group making the same calls
Leaders matched by stage and the decisions in front of them, moving through the program together — plus group coaching when you’re building a muscle you don’t have yet.
Trusted ally — a coach in your corner
Ongoing 1:1 coaching from a vetted coach matched to your situation — someone who already knows your organization when the hard conversation comes. Your coach is always a person; AI helps with notes and prep.
Help that gets things off your plate — not advice that puts more on it.
What leaders say
From running it alone to a team behind her.
“Without Resilia, there would have been lots of time spent outside of our mission and program delivery, taking away our limited resources.”
“A magical key that unlocks the deep mysteries behind fundraising. I don’t feel so alone or lost anymore.”

Subject: Request: capacity-building support for [Your organization] Dear [Program officer name], Thank you for your continued partnership with [Your organization]. I’m writing to ask whether [Foundation name] would consider sponsoring capacity-building support for our team through Resilia. What we want to work on: the Healthy & Successful Leaders cohort (2, 3 or 6 months, about 5–8 hours a month). Why now: [one or two sentences on the need and the opportunity]. What it includes: coaching, a peer cohort and practical tools, ending with a finished deliverable — [e.g. a launched campaign / a board-approved plan]. What it means for you: no new reporting forms. Resilia offers funders a portfolio view of participation and the progress we choose to share. Many funders sponsor whole portfolios of grantees this way. More information: https://www.resilia.com/grantmakers/ I’d be glad to talk it through. Thank you for considering it. Sincerely, [Your name] [Title], [Your organization]
